The site comprises two agricultural fields located on the northern side of Mill Street. Each field is bound by hedgerows and trees to the northern, eastern, and western boundaries. Harbury Surgery and existing residential homes are located along the southern boundary of the site. 

 

The Site is immediately adjacent to the settlement of Harbury, with a proportion of the south-eastern part of the site being located within the settlement boundary, 

 

Harbury has been recognised as a sustainable location for new housing development by Stratford-on-Avon district Council within their adopted Core Strategy 2011 – 2031 (adopted July 2016). Harbury is categorised as a category 1 Local Service Village and identified in a suitable location for growth.
